The brand Land Rover is the automobile manufacturer well known for its SUVs. The Land Rover vehicles can be used on any kind of roads like muddy soils and sands. In initial days, Land Rover was a name given to a single model of the vehicle. But later, it was developed as an individual company owning various models of vehicles in the brand named Land Rover. Land Rover stands second in the brands that are long lasting for more years, next to Jeep. It is an England manufacturer now operated by Tata Motors in India. The models of Land Rover brand are Defender, Discovery, Range Rover and Free-lander. There are many parts involved in any vehicle which can function only when performing altogether. Steering system is the most important of all the other parts. The steering system can be either a rack and pinion or the recirculating ball or worm gear box. There is a rack body available inside a flat rack and a gear which is nothing but the pinion. The rack moves with the linear motion with the help of the rotatory motion of the pinion. The rack is connected to the inner tie rod with means of a belt which in turn links to the outer tie rod end. The pinion is connected to the steering wheel. The rods make a linear movement which when connected to the wheel spindle makes the vehicle move forward. If the steering system is not functioning properly, then there must be problem with any of its parts. At this stage, the damaged parts must be replaced.
