This is a Remanufactured Carsteering Rack and Pinion (Note: Remanufactured). SKU number 80-30031-R

Carsteering.com has remanufactured our own power steering racks since opening in 1989 - this is the part that started it all! For the last 3 decades, we've remained committed to using only the highest quality components and the most intensive remanufacturing process in the industry. Each steering rack and pinion is remanufactured by hand in the USA, after it goes through a thorough inspection to original specifications. Each rack is then tested on a steering simulator to ensure the operation meets the specific requirements for the steering system of your vehicle. We stand behind our product with a 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty.

Our Inspection Process:

  • We only rebuild rack and pinions that we are confident can be returned to OEM quality or better
  • We will never rebuild a steering rack with any signs of water damage, extensive rust, or irreparable bends or breaks
  • Any racks with cross-threaded or stripped pressure ports are not considered for repair

    Our Assembly Process:
  • Genuine OEM seals are installed on every unit to ensure optimum performance
  • New steel sleeves are installed in all domestic and import aluminum-style housings
  • Pinion tower port threads are inspected and new O-rings installed with every rebuild
  • All high pressure power steering fluid lines are thoroughly cleaned, tested and replaced if necessary
  • Rack shafts are conditioned to OE level quality and performance through a precision centerless grinding process
  • New premium grade rubber boots and stainless steel clamps are installed on every rack
  • Mounting bushings are included on most applications
  • Inner tie rods are thoroughly inspected, remanufactured or replaced if necessary

    Our Testing Process:
  • Applications with electronic power assist - including ZF Servotronic and Saginaw Magnasteer racks - are tested using a 12-volt system
  • As a final step, all racks must undergo rigorous road simulation to ensure proper performance under true road conditions

  • All Carsteering steering racks come with a 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

    Fits 2006-2013 Lexus IS250, IS350, IS250C and IS350C, 2014 IS250 F Sport, 2014-2015 IS250C F-Sport & IS350C F-Sport and 2008-2014 ISF. Not compatible with the optional all-wheel-drive!
